About Us
History
The Educational Development Center founded the Instructional Technology Section in 1995, which was responsible for providing instructional technology-related and distance learning services. At the turn of the century, a section of the Educational Development Center was branched off to become the Center for Distance Education, a separate unit to manage distance learning affairs, and the Instructional Technology Section was reassigned to run under the direction of the Office of Academic Affairs in 2004. The current Center for Learning and Teaching was inaugurated in 2006, and the previous Instructional Technology Section and Center for Distance Education were merged into the present-day Distance Education Development Section.
Mission
Our mission is to combine teaching, computers, and e-learning technology to promote a user-friendly, high-tech, zero-distance learner-driven learning environment. We provide a diverse variety of multimedia courseware software, hardware, and related assistance, as well as deliver prompt, quality service. We offer a comprehensive range of facilities for students and faculty to boost learning efficiency.

We will continue to push national and international distance learning collaboration and research programs.
By establishing quality e-learning teaching, courseware, and platforms as the solid foundation of our cyber campus, we will continue to strengthen student enrollment, promotional, and curricular services to achieve an integrated, resource-sharing environment.
We will work towards expanding into the 2nd and 3rd Markets of the Cyber Campus, to pave the way for progress into the 4th wave.
